We’re kicking off this year with several new awesome features and numerous bug fixes.

New features

Road planning and waypoints

We are gradually implementing a new road planning interface for your shipments. In future, it will allow you to forecast the shipment route, set ETA and monitoring events for each waypoint. In this release, we introduce waypoints.

Public API

We’ve finally launched the Moeco public API and reference for it! Currently you can use it to collect various data on shipments and sensors but we’ll add more endpoints soon. Stay tuned!

New shipment creation

We redesigned the whole process of shipment creation. Now you can create empty shipments and then add to them sensors and necessary information. Also, the shipment creation button has moved—to the shipments table.

Technical improvements

  • Added field validation while creating an alert and a custom parameter with a formula.

  • Optimized the sensor search feature in the shipment adding window.

  • Improved the export feature UX.

  • Made alerts and notifications texts more user-friendly.

  • Improved the gateway management UX.

  • Added the device type filter to the custom parameters window.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue that showed wrong parameter names in the sensors stats chart.

  • Fixed an issue that caused no effect to a parent shipment when one of its sensors destination was changed.

  • Fixed an issue that showed empty popups for some triggered monitoring events.

  • Fixed several issues that caused incorrect rendering of the sensors stats chart.

  • Fixed an issue that occasionally hid a custom parameter for users across an organization after editing it.

  • Fixed an issue that showed UTC time, instead of local time, for some parts of the sensors stats chart and in PDF reports.

  • Fixed an issue that showed wrong headers for monitoring events with countries list.

  • Fixed an issue that broke the shipment stats table if one of the custom parameters has an invalid value in its formula.

  • Fixed an issue that didn’t allow a user to log into the platform if they enabled MFA for one of their organizations.

  • Fixed an issue that triggered the Delivered stage for a shipment before it arrived to the exact point.

  • Fixed an issue that didn’t allow a user to log into the platform if they didn’t belong to any organization.

  • Fixed an issue that left the Suspend user and Delete role buttons active after a user had been suspended or a role had been deleted.

  • Fixed an issue that caused incorrect shipment and sensor tags display.

  • Fixed an issue that caused occasional crushes of the Moeco mobile web application.

  • Fixed an issue that caused the text overlay for shipment names.

  • Fixed an issue that showed several notifications for the same alert.
